Keren Baron, MD

Keren Tuvia Baron, MD, is a board-certified radiologist specializing in Women’s Imaging. She received her subspecialty fellowship training in breast and body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Prior to that, she completed a diagnostic radiology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell. She is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine, and received her BA in biology from Brown University, magna cum laude.

Dr. Baron has many years of experience in private practice devoted to Women’s Imaging, which encompasses both breast and pelvic imaging. She interprets all breast imaging studies including 2D and 3D mammography/tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. She is an experienced interventionalist, routinely performing stereotactic, ultrasound, and MR guided breast biopsies. Dr. Baron also interprets pelvic sonography, and has published articles on imaging of infertility treatment complications, and on abdominal pain in pregnancy.

Dr. Baron is an active member of several radiological societies, including the American College of Radiology and Society of Breast Imaging. She serves on two committees for the New York State Radiological Society, and is a peer reviewer for several journals, including the Journal of Breast Imaging, the official journal of the Society of Breast Imaging.
