covid-19 new practice protocols

To Our Patients:

Covid practic protocolsAs we navigate through these historic and uncertain times, we are committed to our patients and providing high-quality care. Our office is following all recommended guidelines from public health authorities and the CDC including best practices for Infection Control, hygiene and medical professional team health in the fight against COVID-19.

We have implemented a number of new practices and specific protocols to ensure that our facility remains safe and sanitary. These include:

  • All patients are screened for COVID-19 symptoms before arriving for their visit.
  • Limiting the number of patients in our waiting room and rearranging chairs to accommodate social distancing. Please be advised that magazines will not be available.
  • Thorough surface cleaning, equipment disinfectant and exam room sanitizing between patients and throughout the day.
  • We will attempt to streamline patients by getting the maximum amount of patient information for registration prior to entering the office and limiting the number of escorts and additional people accompanying patients to the office.
  • Our physicians and staff will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and all patients will be required to wear a mask or an appropriate face covering and gloves while in the office.
  • We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment and do not stay in our waiting room after being discharged.

Schonholz and Drossman LLP is confident in our ability to continue seeing patients and providing you with high quality, efficient, personalized and safe care.
